Now-a-days, the popularity of flash has decreased tremendously due to new entrance in the industry like HTML5 canvas that runs on low band width and less memory. In fact, users are feeling annoyed to browse web applications through desktop monitors and they are loving the way they browse from a hand held device like smartphone or tablet and these smart devices run on less memory and limited hardware specifications. Hence, it becomes mandatory for the web content to be light weight and not so memory intensive so that they can run smoothly through any smart device. As a result, HTML5 canvas has replaced flash in last few years.
